Attorney James Judith, in an interview with Bombo Radyo, cautioned that newly elected Senate President Alan Peter Cayetano should not be complacent.
He explained that supporters of the Duterte camp also have little reason to celebrate the sudden “leadership coup” in the Senate, as the current majority bloc only holds a slim margin of votes.
Judith stressed that this narrow advantage leaves room for possible shifts in alliances, meaning Cayetano’s position as Senate President could still be challenged and replaced if circumstances change.
