He warned that if political maneuvering overwhelms the Senate’s true mandate of governance and lawmaking, the public may lose trust in the institution.
Lacanilao further noted that many citizens are closely watching the Senate’s actions, especially on issues tied to the ongoing impeachment proceedings.
