Zerlate Buranday, co-op educator and ethics committee officer of the Oro Integrated Cooperative, reminded families receiving government cash grants such as those under the 4Ps program to use the assistance responsibly.

She explained that the cash grant is only meant as government support to help meet daily needs, not as a complete solution to all household expenses.

Buranday stressed the importance of planning and listing expenditures, since resources are limited while family needs are many.

She warned that failing to plan often leads to poor decisions, such as impulsive purchases without clear priorities.

For this reason, she emphasized the need for discipline in budgeting to ensure that the aid is spent on the most essential needs of the family, thereby strengthening the financial stability of beneficiaries.
