Seafood vendors at Bulua Fish Landing are now purchasing and having water delivered to address supply problems affecting market sanitation, according to association president Irene Floro.
She admitted that due to ration limits from the Cagayan de Oro Water District, members from Bay 1 to Bay 16 are forced to spend daily for their water needs.
Floro urged the local government and the water district to inspect and provide a proper solution for the facility’s direct water line.
While cleaning continues, the group hopes their concerns will be addressed to avoid public complaints about foul odor.
