CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – Unom ka mga sundalo ang patay samtang 20 ang samaron sa duguong engkwentro sa kasundaluan batok New Peoples Army sa Borongan, Eastern Samar, kaganina sa buntag.
Gikompirmar sa 14th Infantry Battalion nga pulos ilang mga sakop ang namatay human sa 30 minutos nga engkwentro sa gibana-bana 50 ka ihap sa mga rebelde sa Barangay Pinana-an.
Base sa report, unom ka mga improvised explosive device ang mibusikad sa wala pa mahitabo ang engkwentro.
Wala una gipalugwa sa Armed Forces of the Philippines kon AFP ang ngalan sa mga namatay. Lakip sa mga samaron sila: Sgt Kenneth John Arcina, Sgt Cyril Baja, Sgt Rando Soria, Pfc Albert Abegonia, Pfc Denmark Gonsaza, Pfc Dandreb Gaelon, Pfc Riel Bilason, Pfc Gilbert Renegado, Pfc Rex Batis Jr., Pfc Jerwin Omrab, Pvt Darwin Aborquez, Pvt Joshua Pacuan, Pvt RogerMoore Ditche, Sgt Marlon Orsal, Cpl Dominador Antonio Jr., Cpl Aljon Aguillos, Cpl Linlito Donayre, Pfc Mark Geric De Leon, Pfc Rene Abuda, ug Pvt Jayson Beros.
