CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – The Archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro expressed its deep appreciation to Bombo Radyo Cagayan for consistently broadcasting the Sunday Mass held at the historic St. Augustine Metropolitan Cathedral.
Reverend Father Max V. Ceballos, SSJV, singled out the radio station for praise during yesterday’s service.
He lauded Bombo Radyo Cagayan for providing live coverage, particularly for the special mass dedicated to the well-being of those battling illnesses.
In his homily, Father Ceballos acknowledged the struggles faced by “fathers” who are battling acquired diseases, in light of the Father’s Day celebration.
He offered a message of encouragement, urging the congregation to embrace the teachings of Jesus Christ and strive to become model a Christian.
The Archdiocese also took the opportunity to extend its gratitude to pilgrims who have continuously supported the ongoing renovation of the Cathedral, the oldest church in Cagayan de Oro.
Inspired by Father Ceballos’ call, the Archdiocese is appealing for further donations to expand the cathedral.
This expansion will ensure a more spacious, safe, and comfortable space for all worshippers.
