City Agriculturalist Engr. Bernie Daba announced that the City Agriculture Office will double its support for farmers and fisherfolk during the ongoing crisis.

Key initiatives include the distribution of free seeds and fertilizers to ensure continuous production and higher yields.

Daba emphasized that harvests from local farmers will be brought directly to pop-up markets across the city, such as those in Grand Europa and Pueblo de Oro, giving residents access to more affordable produce.
He further explained that this program is part of the President’s directive, impl

emented locally by Mayor Uy, to strengthen the agricultural sector.

The initiative aims not only to boost local food production but also to support the community’s economy during these challenging times. (co-written by James Oliver)
