CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – A team of expert from the Philippine Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) Fellows of the DOH Epidemiology Bureau is investigating the cause of the massive food poisoning in a village of Bukidnon, on Friday.
Epidemiologist Dr. Dave Mendoza, re-echos the mandates of Health Secretary Francisco Duque III, after reports have been submitted to the central office.
He said, Secretary Duque is particular in knowing the source of the poisoning.
On Monday, the 8th Infantry Battalion of Impasug-ong reports to Bombo Radyo Cagayan de Oro that over a thousand participants of the Seventh Day Adventist, who were gathering in Cedar Hotel were rushed to the nearest hospital due to vomiting, nausea, and diarrhea.
Meanwhile, Bukidnon Medical Center chief of Hospital Dr. Supicio Henry Legazpi said, that most of the participants of the 8th National Youth Convention are now out patient, while some are confined but under stable condition.
