DSWD Region 10 Information Officer Roshiel Galla clarified that there has been no rollout yet of assistance for qualified drivers affected by the fuel crisis in the region.
She explained that their office is still waiting for final guidelines from the national office while the program is being implemented in the National Capital Region.
After the NCR rollout, orientations will be conducted in regional offices to ensure proper implementation.
Galla emphasized that the public will be promptly informed through press releases and other communication channels.
She also reminded that the fuel subsidy program falls under the LTFRB, while the DSWD will focus on cash relief assistance for eligible beneficiaries
