CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Philippines – As Typhoon Enteng continues its westward track, several areas in Luzon and Visayas have been placed under heightened alert levels.
As of current time, the following regions are under Wind Signal No. 2, Eastern portion of Camarines Sur, Catanduanes and Eastern portion of Isabela.
Meanwhile, the following areas remain under Wind Signal No. 1: Eastern portion of Cagayan, including Babuyan Islands, Eastern and central portions of Isabela, Eastern and southern portions of Quirino, Aurora, Northern and southern portions of Quezon, including Polillo Islands, Camarines Norte, other parts of Camarines Sur, Albay, Sorsogon, Masbate, including Ticao and Burias Islands, Northern Samar, Sama, Eastern Samar, Biliran and Northeastern portion of Leyte.
The eye of the typhoon was last sighted off the coast of Bagamanoc, Catanduanes.
It is moving northwest at a speed of 15 km/h with maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h near the center and gusts of up to 80 km/h.
According to forecasts, Typhoon Enteng is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Thursday, September 5.
