Overseas Filipino workers in Tel Aviv, Israel continue to consider repatriation as tensions escalate between Israel, the United States, and Iran.
Despite the growing number of OFWs preparing to return home, Bombo International News Correspondent Cheryl Caballero said she has no plans to leave for now.
She noted that the situation feels calmer compared to previous days when explosions erupted almost every minute.
Caballero explained that she no longer goes to the nearest bomb shelter, which is more than 500 meters away, because she fears the intensity of the bombings could destroy even those shelters.
She added that some shelters in their area have already been damaged, leaving residents to rely on Israel’s defense systems against ballistic missiles while they pray for safety.
