Two suspects were arrested during a joint operation by the City Drug Enforcement Unit and other police units after they were found in possession of over two kilograms of suspected shabu in Barangay Puerto last June 12, 2026.
Police Regional Office 10 (PRO10) Regional Director PBGEN Christopher N. Abrahano identified the suspects as “Boy” and “Rey,” with one of them considered a high-value individual.
According to the report, the confiscated illegal drugs weighed 2,030 grams, with an estimated standard drug price of P13,804,000.00.
Despite the suspects claiming they have no personal acquaintance with their supplier, known as “Joben,” authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the true source of the contraband.
Following the operation, PBGEN Abrahano commended the operatives and urged the public to remain vigilant to help completely eradicate illegal activities within their communities.
