Authorities successfully confiscated an estimated two kilograms of suspected shabu valued at ₱13.6 million during a buy‑bust operation in Purok Santan, Barangay Cabantian, Magsaysay, Misamis Oriental on June 7, 2026.Two identified high‑value individuals, known as alias Kulot, 37, and alias Eli, 38, were arrested during the operation.
PBGEN Christopher N. Abrahano, Regional Director of PRO 10, commended the dedication and professionalism of the operatives from PNP‑DEG SOU 10 and PDEA‑10 for the successful conduct of the operation.
Investigations revealed that the suspects had long been targets of police surveillance since 2024, and the illegal drugs were reportedly sourced from Manila.
At present, charges are being prepared against the arrested individuals for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, while they remain in police custody.
