Brigadier General Michelle Anayron will relinquish his post as Commanding Officer of the 4th Infantry Division on April 29, with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. yet to appoint her successor.

Anayron expressed hope that the next leader will continue reforms she initiated, including dismantling the remaining 12 New People’s Army guerrilla fighters in North Central Mindanao.

The division remains confident in sustaining public trust and ensuring peace in Northern Mindanao, where insurgency incidents have sharply declined and stability has strengthened.
