Former Bayan Muna party-list Representative Karlos Zarate cautioned members of the House of Representatives against refusing to vote in favor of the impeachment complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte.
In an interview of Bombo Radyo CDO, he stressed that such actions would be a disservice to the people as the plenary prepares for a crucial vote.
Zarate expressed confidence that the chamber could secure more than one-third of the votes needed to elevate the case to the Senate for trial.
He noted that the Makabayan Bloc remains firm in its push to remove Duterte from office, citing the seriousness of the allegations lodged against her.
