Coco Naik, Chairperson of the Migrant Workers Committee, questioned the statement of Senator Raffy Tulfo who claimed that the institution has become the “Senate of the DDS.”
Naik insisted that the Senate must remain neutral and should not fall under the influence of any personality. In connection with the issue, the official announced that the investigation involving 18 Marines will proceed this coming Thursday.
Senator Marcoleta is also expected to attend the proceedings to ensure a thorough review of the allegations.
Meanwhile, community groups continue to organize efforts to safeguard public funds against what they describe as corrupt schemes.
