DTI Misamis Oriental Provincial Director Jesusa Abear expressed optimism about the results of their monitoring of school supply prices this back-to-school season.
She assured that no stores or major malls have been found to be overpricing their products.
Abear clarified that they have not issued any letters of inquiry, since no violations were detected among major retailers.
The public can be confident that all school supplies remain within the Suggested Retail Price (SRP).
She added that strict monitoring will continue to protect consumer interests.
