Fr. Der John Faborada, Apostolate Communication Officer of the Archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro, clarified that their office received no directive regarding the White Ribbon March on June 28 at the EDSA People Power Monument.
He explained that the prayer rally will only take place in the capital, and their role is simply to support it.
No clear program has been set for Cagayan de Oro.
The gathering in Manila is expected to include prominent church leaders, CBCP, Christian denominations, and civil society figures.
