The provincial government and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) strengthened their partnership through a courtesy visit by DENR Regional Director Henry Adornado to Governor Juliette T. Uy.
During the meeting, they discussed plans to boost tourism while preserving the environment in Misamis Oriental. Adornado said their office is ready to support initiatives by identifying potential eco-tourism sites and assisting applicants with tenurial instruments.
He also emphasized ongoing cooperation with local government to ensure reforestation and biodiversity protection programs.
This collaboration serves as an opportunity to expand provincial programs for sustainable community development.
