The Police Regional Office 10 assured that its personnel remain on alert to maintain peace and order today, particularly in case groups organize rallies as part of the White Ribbon March in the capital.

PRO-10 spokesperson PMAJ Joann Navarro said that although there are no reports of groups planning activities in the region, they have enough forces ready to monitor any situation.

She added that the police will respect people’s right to express their sentiments and will exercise maximum tolerance, but they will not allow any group or individual to cause disorder or violate the law during their activities.
