The prosecution panel appeared stronger in the impeachment trial against Vice President Sara Duterte, according to former Misamis Oriental Board Member Atty. Oscar Musni.

On the first day of the trial, Musni observed that the prosecution’s presentation was clearer compared to the defense, which failed to provide direct answers to corruption allegations.

He noted that three of the four charges against the Vice President involve alleged misuse of government funds from the national treasury, making them serious accusations that must be addressed.

Despite technicalities raised in the proceedings, Musni emphasized Representative Jinky Luistro’s statement that the welfare of the people should remain the top priority.
