“Bad for optics!” This was the comment of former Councilor Atty. James Judith on the repeated objections raised by Vice President Sara Duterte’s lawyers during the impeachment trial.
Judith pointed out that while objections may be considered a legal tactic, constant interruptions could mislead the public and create a negative impression of their intent.
He questioned why the Vice President’s camp needed to object so frequently if they had nothing to hide and truly wanted the truth to come out.
He added that it would be better not to block the prosecutors’ presentation so the truth could be shown before the people.
