The United People’s Initiative accused the government of fabricating impeachment cases against Vice President Sara Duterte to block her 2028 candidacy.
Secretary General Capt. Rey Valeros Jr. said the complaint is a form of persecution, as the administration knows it cannot defeat her in the next election.
He added that the government should not malign the vice president if it believes in fair political competition.
