Former Philippine Association of Law Schools president Atty. Teodoro A. Pastrana said the NBI should not limit itself to analyzing Vice President Sara Duterte’s video but must prove concrete actions were taken.
He explained this is necessary to determine her true intent and state of mind.
Pastrana noted that the use of the word “assassin” has weak basis since it was not directly uttered by Duterte, who may have spoken out of anger. He stressed the need for stronger evidence beyond emotions or video clips.
