Former Vice Governor Joey Pelaez condemned the impeachment proceedings against Vice President Sara Duterte, as he considers it merely a show to cover up urgent issues such as poverty and the questionable flood control funds.
He pointed out that there is no sufficient basis for the grave threat accusations against the Vice President because even agencies with large intelligence funds failed to provide any evidence.
For him, this move is a huge waste of time and taxpayers’ money.
Therefore, he called for prioritizing problems that directly help the people’s situation instead of focusing on political drama.
