Lawyer and former Misamis Oriental governor Atty. Homobono Adaza believes that impeaching Vice President Sara Duterte will not change anything in the country.

He described the impeachment trial as a waste of time and a distraction from more urgent problems that need solutions. Adaza stressed that issues such as education, healthcare, and the growing number of poor families should be prioritized instead.

He added that even if VP Duterte or other officials are convicted, the lives of ordinary Filipinos will remain the same. According to him, the system has been “useless” since 1949, which is why poverty continues to rise nationwide.
