Shabu valued at P3.4 million was seized from a former robbery suspect during a buy-bust operation in Barangay 36, Cagayan de Oro City, where a high-value individual alias Riyo was arrested.
According to the investigator-on-case, the 30-year-old arrested suspect is linked to a series of swindling incidents in the city and was arrested last year for robbery charges.
The report added that 12 plastic sachets weighing 500 grams were confiscated by police from the suspect, with the supply traced back to Lanao del Sur.
Consequently, Police Regional Office 10 Director Police Brigadier General Christopher Abrahano stated that PRO-10 will further intensify its intelligence-driven operations to completely dismantle drug networks across the region.
