Bulua Police Station Commander Police Major Rutherford T. Ondin issued a stern warning to youths who believe they will not be imprisoned simply because they are minors.
In his interview with Bombo Radyo, he clarified that while minors are initially placed in appropriate facilities upon apprehension, once they reach legal age, they will still be transferred to the Lumbia City Jail if they commit serious offenses.
Furthermore, he warned that perpetrators of pranks such as bomb threats will not escape liability, as proper charges will be strictly filed against anyone proven responsible.
Meanwhile, principals, barangay officials, and the police have met to ensure the safety of children in the area.
