“Too little, too late!” This was the criticism hurled by Hakbang ng Maisug Convenor Atty. Vic Rodriguez against the administration because more than a year has passed since the president’s controversial “mahiya ka naman kayo” statement, yet not a single major flood control contractor has been jailed.
The lawyer pointed out that instead of arresting those involved in the anomalies, individuals who exposed government wrongdoings are the ones being detained.
On the other hand, he also extended his respect and well wishes for the birthday of Senator Dante Marcoleta, who he stated is facing injustice and unfounded plunder charges.
The official also challenged authorities to immediately release the senator from prison in good health.
