Authorities are expediting the identification of a dummy account that issued a threat against Lapasan National High School.
To guarantee everyone’s safety, personnel from the Philippine National Police and barangay tanods have been deployed to the school while coordinating with the cybercrime unit.
School Parent-Teacher Association President Janal Hamdag assured parents that the situation remains under control despite the presence of local gangs, thanks to joint efforts between school administrators and barangay officials.
He urged parents to stay calm, noting that the issue is being handled in partnership with the Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC) and the Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC) Desk.
