PRO-10 Spokesperson Police Major Joann Navarro assured parents and educators that schools across Region 10 remain safe despite emerging reports of school violence.

Navarro explained that while there are no validated or severe security threats facing schools, law enforcement treats every piece of information with utmost seriousness.

Field commanders have been instructed to coordinate with the Department of Education (DepEd) and local government units to conduct threat assessments and increase police visibility around campuses.

The police advised the public against spreading unverified reports on social media and urged citizens to report security concerns directly to authorities.
