Police authorities arrested a 19-year-old suspect, identified as alias “Ason” and listed as the region’s Top 3 Most Wanted Person, following allegations that he used private photos, videos, and threats to coerce and manipulate a minor victim in Barangay Dalisay, Aloran, Misamis Occidental on Monday evening, August 3, 2026.
According to a report from Police Regional Office 10, the suspect faces four counts of violating Section 10(a) of Republic Act No. 7610 (with bail set at ₱80,000.00 per count), Rape under Section 5(b) with no bail recommended, and additional violations under Article III, Section 5 of the same act with bail set at ₱200,000.00.
The charges stem from repeated sexual abuse where the suspect allegedly used intimidation and blackmailed the victim with private media to force her silence.
PRO-10 assured the public that the successful operation led by the Aloran Municipal Police Station and joint police units stands as a firm testament to their relentless stance against perpetrators of child abuse.
