Councilor Edgar Cabanlas’ committee convened stakeholders alongside the Cagayan de Oro City Water District to address persistent water supply shortages at the Bulua Fish Landing.
Despite two days of maintenance work by the Water District, Seafoods and Wholesaler President Irene Floro revealed that vendors still lack running water.
In response, the group organized a daily morning clean-up initiative spanning Bay 1 through Bay 16.
Floro warned nearby retailers and shop owners that full participation in sanitation efforts is mandatory to retain their operating permits.
