The Philippine Embassy reported that all documented Filipinos are safe and uninjured following a magnitude 7.4 earthquake that struck western Colombia.

Chargé d’Affaires and Consul Atty. Judy Razon in Bogota confirmed that 80 percent of the 119 documented Filipinos in the country have been accounted for.

She added that the lone Filipino residing near the epicenter in Chocó was reached and confirmed unharmed.

Razon noted that the embassy remains in close contact with community leaders to maintain monitoring across the country.
