Liberal Youth Northern Mindanao reiterated strong opposition to bills attempting to delay or align the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE).
Chairman Andre Josol highlighted that the Commission on Elections (Comelec) has already allocated and expended ₱8 billion in administrative preparations, warning that postponements result in massive fiscal waste.
Josol added that delaying elections blocks emerging youth leaders from serving frontline barangay roles.
