The Philippines should not boast about military equipment and vessels received from South Korea, Japan, and America, according to anti-war advocate Ben Tiu Contreras.
He clarified that such equipment is already rendered obsolete because modern warfare has evolved to rely purely on missiles and drones.
The advocate also stated that these weapons have no purpose in defending our territory since modern conflict no longer requires the physical involvement of ground troops.
Consequently, he appealed to everyone to pray that America does not order the firing of missiles from our soil, preventing the country from being dragged into any major global war.
