The church reminded all faithful not to forget attending Holy Mass and maintaining continuous prayer amid the ongoing celebration of the Feast of St. Augustine.
Fr. Der John Faborada, Social Communication Officer of the Archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro, emphasized this, clarifying that it serves as a way to express gratitude for blessings through the intercession of patron St. Augustine.
He also urged the public to use the saint as an example and model for living a righteous Christian life despite past struggles and human weaknesses.
Furthermore, the official called on everyone to join together in praying for lasting peace and unity in the city and across the country.
