CoRRECT Movement Lead Convenor Orion Perez Dumdum stated that the Philippines should leverage the U.S. Pax Silica initiative to create high-value domestic employment for IT professionals and industrial workers rather than exporting labor.

Dumdum noted that while local climatic conditions make large-scale data centers impractical, the country can focus on processing critical raw minerals like nickel into semiconductor chips locally.

He argued that retaining raw mineral processing within domestic supply chains will attract foreign investments, enabling local engineers and tech specialists to build sustainable careers without seeking overseas employment.
