LTFRB Region 10 Director Aljo Bendijo announced that the Roads and Traffic Administration has recommended augmenting 27 local public utility vehicle (PUV) units to address commuter shortages in Barangays Bayabas and Kauswagan.
Bendijo detailed that the plan deploys 10 units to the Bayabas RA route, 12 to Bayabas RB, and five to Bayabas RAC to restore connectivity previously lost on the Carmen route.
He added that the regional office is coordinating with local transport cooperatives to ensure safe and dependable service for students and workers.
