Milo Basuel of the Samahan ng Progresibong Kabataan (SPARK) called on national authorities to recover nearly ₱1.8 billion in undisclosed funds linked to Vice President Sara Duterte’s tenure at the Office of the Vice President and the Department of Education.
Basuel asserted that recovering public assets takes priority over criminal proceedings alone, arguing that reclaimed funds should be redirected toward student welfare programs and commuter subsidies.
He added that public accountability requires returning misallocated resources to the national treasury.
