Samahan ng Progresibong Kabataan (SPARK) representative Milo Basuel stated that a conviction in the Senate impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte is necessary to establish public accountability across government agencies.
Basuel argued that evidence submitted to the Impeachment Court demonstrates abuse of office, asserting that a guilty verdict will open avenues to investigate other high-ranking public officials.
He emphasized that youth organizations will continue advocating for systemic anti-corruption reforms across all branches of government.
