Special Assistant to the Governor Celso Abucejo clarified that no formal harmonization mechanism is currently underway between the Executive Department and the Sangguniang Panlalawigan regarding the DBM’s budget findings.
Abucejo confirmed that due to time constraints in the final quarter, Misamis Oriental will maintain the ₱5.8-billion re-enacted budget through December 31.
He assured provincial employees and residents that payroll obligations and baseline social services remain fully funded under the existing fiscal framework.
