Akbayan Youth continues its signature campaign to oppose the planned privatization of the Agus-Pulangi Hydroelectric Complex.
According to Jhune Ace A. Lubang, chairperson of Akbayan Youth in Iligan and Lanao, the campaign is being conducted both physically and through the online platform change.org.The initiative aims to gather legal support to prevent the sale of the facility.
In fact, the group also staged a silent protest during Independence Day to further raise public awareness about this important cause.
The organization emphasized that it is time for the government to listen to the voice of the people, as true power rests in their hands.
