Anti-war advocate Ben Tiu Contreras expressed concern over the presence of several American soldiers and PHIVIDEC officials who reportedly attempted to confront the locked facility of San Jia Steel Corporation in the municipality of Tagoloan.
According to Contreras, this action is reminiscent of the past SAF 44 incident, where the US Embassy initially denied their presence but was later proven true through video footage.
Contreras added that there is a high possibility these foreign officials belong to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
He also reported that the true motive behind the factory’s closure is to utilize the entire area for a proposed naval base in the said municipality.
