Fr. Der John Faborada of the Archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro’s Social Communication Apostolate announced that Archbishop Jose Cabantan personally coordinated with the bishops of the Diocese of Marbel and the Diocese of Digos.
As part of this initiative, the archdiocese sent financial assistance to earthquake victims in these areas to support ongoing relief operations.
Fr. Faborada assured that through the social action offices of each diocese, the delivery of aid will be faster and more efficient, reaching families most affected by the tremor.
He emphasized that their office is committed to ensuring adequate support for communities that suffered severe damage.
In addition, the archdiocese continues to offer prayers and encouragement to the victims as they face the hardships brought about by the disaster.
