The group Artikulo Onse condemned what they described as the government’s selective approach in investigating corruption allegations involving public funds.
According to Ka Leody De Guzman of the group, many pieces of evidence have been presented against various officials, yet the government seems to focus only on cases involving the Dutertes.
He expressed concern that billions of pesos have also been misused by other politicians, but only Vice President Sara Duterte is being investigated.
He stressed that all officials involved in any form of corruption should be investigated without bias to achieve the genuine justice long demanded by the people.
