Lapasan Punong Barangay Julito Ogsimer issued a stern warning to the public, stressing that making security threats is no laughing matter and that perpetrators—including minors—face imprisonment and severe legal consequences.
An investigation led by the barangay is underway to trace the origin of the threat against Lapasan National High School.
To maintain safety across two local schools, the barangay LGU has heightened close monitoring and increased the visibility of barangay tanods alongside police officers to counter bullying and gang recruitment.
Ogsimer assured the public that the school administration, police force, and barangay council are working in complete unity to protect students and teaching staff.
