The Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) is set to hold its first regional parliamentary elections on Monday, following previous legislative postponements.
Moro Consensus Group Chairman Drieza Lininding characterized the election as a milestone for regional governance.
Lininding noted that the parliamentary system introduces party-list voting alongside district and sectoral representation, urging citizens to familiarize themselves with the new voting framework.
