CDO City Councilor Roger Abaday warned those attending the Higalaay Festival festivities that bringing contraband, sharp objects, and bottled water is strictly prohibited, especially in enclosed areas such as the Sports Center.
The official added that strict inspections will be conducted on all backpacks and other bags carried by spectators to ensure the city’s peace and order.
Furthermore, wearing caps is not allowed in areas where activities will take place.
To guarantee peace and order, Abaday stated that security forces have been properly positioned and deployed to guard stations and check garbage left behind by the public, including at the Boulevard where the launching will be held.
