CAFITADA President Bernie Jamaca urged regulatory bodies to conduct a thorough review of operating documents for Green GSM EV Taxis currently plying local routes.
In an interview with Bombo Radyo, Jamaca called on LTO-10 and LTFRB to verify if the electric taxis hold valid legal papers and passenger franchises.
He shared reports from taxi organizations in Metro Manila indicating that company drivers failed to show basic registration requirements, including Official Receipts and Certificates of Registration (OR/CR).
Jamaca emphasized that their group will push forward with legal petitions to prevent the issuance of Certificates of Public Convenience while their application for the El Salvador City to Region 10 route remains pending.
